Orlando Great Lakes, a 500-acre luxury resort destination high above the Florida Everglades anchored by two premier hotels, launched its Grande Summer lineup to complement recent multimillion-dollar renovations at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando and JW Marriott Orlando. Designed as an oasis for guests of all ages, the range of enriching new activities, vacation experiences, and seasonal culinary and spa offerings provide the perfect balance of recreation and relaxation for the ultimate summer vacation.
In addition to the world-class Ritz-Carlton Spa, Ritz-Carlton Golf and Tennis Club, and outdoor adventures just minutes from other top Orlando attractions, the resort unveiled a host of events designed to create unforgettable memories. Programming includes family movie nights, poolside sno cones and craft mocktails designed just for kids, hands-on games, live entertainment, free Saturday night fireworks and offers vacation-specific culinary experiences at the resort’s 12 acclaimed restaurants, helmed by award-winning chefs. Having undergone extensive renovations over the past year, the resort now offers upgraded public spaces, restaurants, guest rooms, and suites throughout the property; pools and private poolside cabanas at the Ritz-Carlton; JW Marriott’s new restaurant, Knife Burger; and the freshly restored EvrBar.
For growing families, JW Marriott’s new two- and three-bedroom Executive Family Suites offer idyllic accommodations for a summer getaway, with built-in bunk beds perfect for kids, king-size beds for parents, and living areas separated to give everyone enough space to feel at home.
Every Saturday night, the new LakesAlive! Fireworks will entertain guests, with special shows on July 4e and Labor Day. The show is free for overnight guests, with upgrade options available that include food service at both hotels and a private in-room viewing package at the Ritz-Carlton designed for a family of four.
In addition to other holiday-themed poolside games and activities throughout the summer, on the 4th of July weekend, the Ritz-Carlton will host a luau-themed fair, complete with games , contests, shows, slides and more on the DaVinci Lawn.
New spa offers
The only Ritz-Carlton spa in the United States to offer two new treatments, Grande Lakes Orlando now offers both a custom-designed Organic Research facial and a non-surgical facelift. Additionally, monthly summer spa specials designed to rejuvenate body and soul will include the June Top to Toe Treatment, offering a curated ESPA aromatherapy experience to soothe guests from head to toe; an Oribe scalp treatment from July; an August Alpha Beta Peel facial with Dermaflash; and a September Grande Citrus breakout. In August, the spa will debut “Surrender Sundays,” with discounts on specific signature treatments.
